Short/Long View in "toggling" mode? (enhancement s

In Comments view pressing Ctrl-Shift-F2 shortcut again switch back to previous view - this is like toggling.
I think that toggling two views by one shortcut is a good idea.

But shortcuts for Short and Long Views works in a bit different way - second pressing do nothing; this view is set and stay on.

So here is my question (or enhancement suggestion):
Is it possibe in TC to switch to Short or Long views (Ctrl-F1/F2) in TOGGLING mode not in SETTING mode?

perhaps some scriptexperts can come up with someting ?
