Thumbnails only in specified folders?

Can i specify which folders use thumbnail view and which folders use regular view..

i want my pic folders to show thumbnails but everything else the regular view

can i speficy this somehow?

1st: you did a bad search

2nd: nope not possible as there is no save view-state of folder (like in explorer)

Unfortunately, TC V6.51 doesn't save individual view settings (custom-column-view, thumbnail view etc.) per folder.

Workaround: View settings are stored with tabs. Thus, you can create new tabs for your pic folders; choose thumbnail view and lock your new tabs. If you switch to these tabs, thumbnail view will be set automatically for the associated folders.

i guess i'll use picasa to manage my pics..

im finding that i'm only using tc for packing/unpacking..
switched to itunes for music management, and now picasa for images..
ffxp for ftp..
