can TC do this?

Hi,

Sometimes I have to open some files of several types with MPC(media player classic). So I made a "send to" shortcut of MPC in right_click menu......

I wonder if I can make this simpler with TC , e.g. assign a hotkey to "send to MPC" ?

Never used MPC, but you can try to create a button with MPC (just drag the MPC exe to buttonbar) and use "%L" as parameter (with doublequotes)
This creates a temporary filelist and sends it to MPC.

You need an addon for that.

1. Download "List To MultiInstance" from www.clubtotal.tk.
2. Create a button:
Command: X:\path\to\l2m.exe
Parameter: /L:%L /X:"X:\path\to\mplayerc.exe"
3. Mark the files you wanna open and press the button.

If you create a starter entry instead of a button you can of course create a hotkey, too. If you don't like the default hotkeys available in starter you have to assign one yourself in TC configuration-misc, reassign cm_usermenuX with X being the position of your entry in starter menu.

I downloaded Lst2mult, when reading the readme file, I found another way--- I just made a button for MPC, and drag any file to this button...... It's very handy !

Sure, you can do that, too. Use parameter %P%N then so you can click the button and don't have to drag and drop.

But as you asked for a possibility to start more than one file at a time you really should give l2m a try.

Lst2mlt is a rather old version, the official plugin section is rather outdated.

An entry in the start menu, look in the menu bar.
You need to create an entry there if you want to use a hotkey instead of a button.
