SDesk looks nice but it needed only two minutes and one restart of the app to corrupt the sdesk.ini and to make Windows present a RAM read error instead. Seems a little buggy to me.
This never happened to me. I use it for months now. XP pro SP1.
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

Unfortunately this XP powertoy isn't only causing problems to TC, but also to other apps. It doesn't seem to be able to handle window sizes correctly for programs which weren't written with the Microsoft VC++ compiler. It means that there is no way for me to correct this problem, so all I can do is recommend to use a different multiple desktop software, as suggested by other users. here.
