Hide drive buttons (but not all)

Is it possible to hide just some of the drive buttons

At the moment my drive-button bar looks like this:
[a][c][d][e][f][g][x][y][Network][\][..] "Drive info"

Normaly i only use the buttons for my HD's and CD drives.
I also like see the "drive info", but i don't like the buttons i
rarely press It would be nice if i colud make it look
like this:
[c][d][e][f][y] "Drive info"

That way it would be more compact and i would still be able
to access the "hidden" drives with the Alt + F1/F2 command
or just typing in the commandline.

you can add the following setting to your wincmd.ini,
which usually resides in your main os-directory, e.g. "c:\windows":

[Configuration]
Allowed=cdefy

but, doing so gives some disadvantages.
you're not be able to select the omitted drives from the dropdownlist.
to access omitted drives, for example "a:", by typing a:\ in the commandline
opens a explorerwindow with the contents of "a:".
not very desireable.

besides, the button for [network] will still occur, if you have installed at least one filesystemplugin (e.g. pop3plugin.dll or httpplugin.dll)

as for [\] and [..], which can't be switched off, at least to my knowledge.

Hmmm... okay.
Hopefully Christian Ghisler will read this and consider to
make it possible, to hide some of the drive buttons, in a
future version.

Currently hiding them as described above is meant for admins, so users cannot access these drives from within TC. What you can do is share the A: drive, and then access it via the Network Neighborhood.
