TC v6.51 winxp pro sp1
bug: copying a folder whose name ends with a space, e.g., "folder " creates a folder without the space e.g., "folder"
tested copying local non-empty folder to new folder on mapped network drive on win2k sp4 workstation.
when the first file was being copied, TC reported "remove copy protection" even though the file/folder had no copy protection. closer inspection revealed problem with new folder name (missing trailing space).
to create folder name with trailing space I used "folder \" from command line

I was able to create them using command line, this was unknown to me...
But I think this is a bug that was left behind because Explorer is not able to handle these folders at all, they can only be accessed, but not copied/moved/deleted/renamed/etc...
Maybe ghisler will enlighten us.

Indeed such names aren't allowed, and it's a bug that you can actually create them with this trick. TC does not allow to create such folders, that's why it cuts off the space when copying.
