Lazy Aezay is Back With News! (TC Script Editor)

Post by *Aezay »

Ok, its been a while since Ive been posting here, last time being here.

Ive come up with a fix for the SendText command, which had not been working as intended. The API I had been looking for was VkKeyScan in case anyone was interested.

The final version of 1.04 with a fixed SendText can be found in the original TC Script Editor Thread.

Hope its useful to at least someone - Enjoy :)

Thank you Aezay for the everyday used tool!
Wish next version it could be totally independent from system registry.

In what way do you mean? That it wont try to use the registry path to find TotalCmd?

Since TC 6.5 there's a new wincmd.ini setting:

UseIniInProgramDir=0
This variable will only be read if the wincmd.ini is located in the same dir as the program.
It is the sum of the following values:
1: Use wincmd.ini in program dir if no other location is set via registry or parameters
2: Use wcx_ftp.ini in program dir if no other location is set via registry or parameters
4: Override registry settings (but not command line parameters)

It means with UseIniInProgramDir=7, TC itself could be totally independent from system registry. So far all plugins and tools I'm using have no problem with this setting, except TC Script Editor, which will pop up an error msg.

I fully agree with Raymond.

UseIniInProgramDir=1 could be absolutely necessary without having admin rights (rigths to write to registry).

The point is it has to read from Registry to locate wincmd.ini.
When there's no entries of TC in Registry, this tool got a problem, in which case TC itself works properly with the setting UseIniInProgramDir=7.
