I've been reading some posts about ideas for new pluins... Well, I've got some by myself...
1. HFS[+] (MacOS) FS plug-in. I know there're some free source codes (like HFV Explorer or the code mentioned in its readme.txt at http://www.student.nada.kth.se/~f96-bet/hfsutils/, more info here) to interact with HFS volumes (mounted or real partitions or drives), so it wouldn't be difficult to get the information.
2. Since there is an e-mail LS plugin, why not create a Packer plug-in to read unix m-box (and, more specifically, Becky's mailbox format, very similar to mbox)? It would be nice at times to read messages stored in backup CDs without the main program...
I would do them myself... if I had any knowledge of how....
I have some more, but, let's save them for a later post...
