Date format in custom columns
Has anyone noticed that when using the "tc" menu choices while setting up custom columns, the date format insists on showing the century i.e. DD/MM/YYYY and never simply DD/MM/YY? This is in spite of the box 'Show century in date (20xx)' being unchecked in Configuration/Tabstops. The date IS shown correctly as DD/MM/YY in non-custom column displays. Odd, but is it just me? Yeah, I know - it's only 2 chars but those are precious on a minimised screen!

IMHO there should be a Help button in the Costum columns Edit box - I advocated for it in the beta-forum, but Christian wouldn't put it in at the time.
If you press F1 while in the Costum columns Edit box - you can see it on the bottom of the help page.Hope this appears somewhere in TC's documentation

javascript:emoticon(':D') Ho, ho, so it does indeed! I agree with you that a Help box would have been useful right in the context dialogue. It never occurred to me to look up F1 for assistance. Still, having the date format case-sensitive is rather unusual isn't it? Reminds me of the good(?) old days deperately searching thru the command syntax for obscure Unix MAN commands. Perhaps this is indicative of why a wonderful piece of software like TC doesn't enjoy the far wider audience that it deserves, whereas MS's inferior stuff sells like hot cakes. MS does understand that its target does need a little hand-holding and makes the effort. IMHO, TC's docs, while effective for the reasonably knowledgeable, could do with a thorough and words-of-one-syllable revamp for unambiguous clarity, but I'm not holding my breath. Maybe Christian would rather not be swamped with a million punters asking silly questions!
