Here is the icon for removable disks (which is used for USB-Drives).

I think it saver for you not to use TC
Here is my reasoning: I unzipped and placed the three icon files in one of folders in D-drive. I replaced one of the exisiting toolbar icons with one of those new icons as suggested in the Readme.txt. I saw the new icon in the toolbar but all other existing icons were disappeard from the tool bar. (since then I reconstructed the default toolbar setting). That's why I thought that those three icon files should be placed in TC folder, system32 (where windoes icons are located), or other place. That's the reason why I raised the question.

Here is another comment: I think that this guy must be a kind of wacko. What are programs for? I have 0-background in computer programming, but I have been using Norton Commander and Windows/Total commander for about 20 years in the past. Those programs have been sold as consumer products to the general public. I paid for and I am entitled to learn how to make use of these programs. This forum stinks because this forum seems to be full of lunatics. You guy should remember that computer science is one of professional fields. Don't be snubbish to the newbies because you know something about comptuer programming. If this forum were limited to professional progrmammers like Sir_SiLvA, this forum should be closed to the general public like me. Cobras

Cobras: Sorry but using Iocns has nothing today with computer science
Even my 3 year old cousin is able to change a Icon and believe me he has less background in computer-programming than you,
but if you are not able to
a) read the TC-Helpfile
b) unterstand the readme
maybe its safer for your pc if you stay as far as possible away from it

And I dont belive you that you wanna tell as that you changed just 1 icon and all the others dissapeared...

If you really had any xp in computers you wouldnt go and tell something like
"This forum stinks because this forum seems to be full of lunatics."
so from now on i dont think anyone here will help you...

I still see your damn arrogance.
Remember that icon issue is no big deal.
Life can go without TC.
I will try not to return to this newgroup.

I'm pretty sure that Sir_SiLvA is wrong. And if you feel bothered of someone you may use the 'ignore'-button at the bottom of his post.

You haven't paid me or anyone else in this forum so you are only entitled to ask for help, nothing else.
This forum stinks because this forum seems to be full of lunatics.
I think that generalisations stink especially if they are raised by people like you offering no help for newbies themselves. Complaining is easy, helping is not, especially with users who need be told everything twice or more times because they don't listen.

Regarding your question with the buttonbar, it has been answered one month ago by Sheepdog already and the funny thing is, the name of the guy who has asked was Cobras, too:

I will try not to return to this newgroup.
This means that you come back when you don't find other morons you can exploit somewhere else?

Well, good luck on your journey.

I would prefer being a part of a board filled with lunatics, rather than full of people who like to join something they think has a bad smell.

easy, pals. Time to bury the hatchet and bring this thread back to topic again:

See first post in this thread for my updated vicons3 collection with all-new drive icons and some other minor changes...

Love the new drive icons.

The main button bar collection seems to be the "preview" release and not the complete one. Am I missing something?

Thanks!

Hmm, as I stated in my first post, I've not ported all icons from vicons2 to vicons3 yet, so if your icl contains 27 icons, it's the current complete version.
Every single icon means quite a bunch of work, so I'm designing them from the IMHO most important ones 'downwards'. I did not integrate the additional old icons in v3 to avoid confusion.

Little request plz! If possible a higher contrast or brighter color choice
for the up-folder filepanel icon. Some users (inc. me) have black or dark backgrounds
and you cannot clearly see the arrow. Thank you in advance!

Good point, I didn't consider that and put it on my todo list. please be a little patient for my next release, I'm gathering suggestions and constantly overwork the icons to achieve the best possible professional (and matching TCs 'character' somehow) LookAndFeel and usability (as far as my abilities allow it).

My goal is still to release a killer-theme that may find its way into TC someday
