System: Intel Pentium 4 with Windorws XP (no updates) and Nero Burning
I really like Total Commander, but I did not like how I could not use it with a totally blank CD and how just as soon as I would drag files from one side of Totoal Commander to the other side they would be immediatly copied to my CD.
Solution: Instead of having to use a CD with at least one file already on the CD so T.C. can recognize the drive, I bring up my Windows XP CD writing window and then I drag the files I want to copy from Total Commmander and instead of dropping them in the other half of T.C. I drop them in my Windows XP CD writing window then when I am ready I click "write these files to CD".
I tested the back up copies I like by deleting the programs from my hard drive and then re-installing the back up copies from the CDs I just burnt and the programs worked.
Total Commander shows and copys hidden files I could not copy with out it.
Has anyone tried Total Commander for copying over sized Discs with more than 750 MB on the disc? In that case I suppose I would need to drag files from one side of Total Commandet to the other.
