Or a complete content management system, like PHP-Nuke :D.

Now seriously, I need it for my job as said before, and must be shared with different partners. And I only have a network shared drive (very restricted environment, but I can install programs :D).

As you can see, it's a very specific task.

I think you should consider using a project/collaboration tool instead - having a website costs next-to-nothing and its a pretty acessible method. http://www.php-collab.org/ is one I kinda like - great tool anyway both for employees, contractors and customers. (got a demo site if you want to take a peek)

For more closely relating systems, I'd say go for pocketpc's for everyone and an Exchange server to coordinate it. It's small, handy, and really can do what a 'real' PC can do - advanced calendar functions, coordinations of meetings and bookings, surfing info from the Net, keep track of miles on the pocket excel, send and receive emails... OK I only use mine for half those things, but I love it. It's some ways from freeware... but when you have it, theres no end to the freeware you can get for it, just look at TotalCommander... :D

Have a look at http://www.sixfiles.com/dbase/business-home/pims-calendars. There you can get a survey of PIMs and calendars (last check was 111 entries  ).

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm talking about business information, and I don't want that info to be outside my job (it's confidential). And they won't give us space in the internal network, so there's no way to use any PHP or Web related tool.

Thanks for the link, I will take a look. If I find anything useful, I'll tell you.

Looking for something else I stumbled on tucows.
Go to http://www.tucows.com/downloads/Windows/Business/PersonalInformationManagement/ and there select Freeware in the dropdown box. Resulted in 64 entries. Happy browsing.

Maybe a good programm for storing and using of information: MYBASE.

I use Mybase Desktop for adresses (also email+web, working directly in the db) and for different information with images/pictures.
Many features: search, print, copy and past to other documents, import and export, attachments. Quick possibilities to place your Mybase file on a website. The database which you make, can simple be used by another who don't possess the programm (!).

No freeware, modest price, 30days trial and a good HelpDesk.

Perhaps an interesting tool.
