[NEW Plugin] RSS Reader

some ideas...
I think the best way to present the feed information to the user is the Quick-View panel with a specific lister plugin (new extension) to avoid the usual text plugins from being used.
With this new lister plugin made specific for the rss feeds, you coud trace which feed were already read by the user. With this information you could change the icon for the feeds already seen.
And, please add http proxy support... The plugin is useless for all of us who are behind proxys.

Hey Midos,
Thanks for the update, things are looking lots better
Here are my findings:
1. When I doubleclick an RSS article, it opens in my browser (which is fine), when I return to TC, I get the question if I want to reload. This is kind of annoying after every article
2. The reload screen shows only half of it, the other half is off screen on the right hand side.
3. When I view the article in my webbrowser (FF), I see author in the titlebar as <%author%> instead of the normal name. In TC, it is just empty (IEView)
4. I stil can't add new RSS feeds via the properties page
Regards,
RolandD

Name of proxy usually write on error pages. Try to go to some wrong page (like http://thisaddresnotexist.not ) and decribe the error page.
Also, plugin don't work with socks proxy.

Hi there,
Thanks for the new release but it appears to have a few problems. When I QuickView the html file, it no longer formats it correctly but I see the HTML tags.
Further, it no longer displays the amount of bytes read. As somebody else already stated. It would eb nice to have the filedates of the posts instead of the time they are retrieved.
With Enter, it no longer opens the file in my browser either
