Re: Same with test---

Clo wrote:- I got the test-library, thanks ! You can see the result
Yes, I see, that the results of 4 columns are put together in one column.
Clo wrote: ...via the built-in feature of TC? I don't use this, but TC Plugman to install all plugins. :?:
No, I don't think, that this is the problem. But... maybe. Try it.

I think, it is a better way to handle this special tests directly via email.

Hello,
J.Bl wrote:that the results of 4 columns are put together in one column.
that's it... There was no need to change anything in the plugin...

A new release (1.07) is available from here http://www.bleichroth.info/pub/wdx/wdx_ImgSize.zip
or - better - from here http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/wdx_ImgSize.html

Now supported formats are: JPG GIF BMP PNG TIFF PSD PCX EPS/PS

See installation und configuration details in the improved readme.txt file of the plugin.

:?: The Plugin is available - as announced - in release 1.07 at both places. May be, it's a cache problem of your Internet Provider? However, please try it again... Thank you.

Version 1.08 no more works

Post by *Vansumsen »

About version 1.08

Not working under XP : Width(x), Height(y), Pixel(x * y),

But Diagonal(diagonal length), Orientation (Square, Portrait, Landscape), Size (small, medium,).... works OK

Even in Column and Thumbnails...

(Version 1.07 was without problem)

I'm I alone with this problem?

I hope so... ;-)

Please read the file "upgrade_info.txt" in the plugin zip package of version 1.08: I have changed the english names of the columns 'x', 'y' and 'x * y' to 'Width', 'Height', 'Pixel'. So, you have to 're-add' these colums in your custom column configuration. Than every thing works well again.

There is a hint to this 'upgrade_info.txt' file in the 'What new' part of the webpage. Here is the text:
2005-02-18 Auto language select, IniFile changed to ImgSize.ini (in plugin dir), english column names changed (please read Upgrade_Info.txt !)

Best regards

No longer works ---

Post by *Clo »

:) Hello Paul !
¤ The same here under Win 98 SE…

- Moreover :
• "Diagonal" is not displayed as tab-caption ( the measurement works)
• "Landscape" and "Portrait" are not translated, even if I add them in the LNG (they are missing in the file)…
• If I set the fields :
[=imgsize.Largeur]x[=imgsize.Hauteur] under thumb-nails, only the "X" is displayed…
¤ That worked with the previous version till I use these fields for thumb-nails. Then : *peanuts*, not any column has displayed that it should… :(
¤ Even disabling the thumb-nail field doesn't make it works again for the columns…

Hello,
Clo wrote:¤ The same here under Win 98 SE…
Please use the hints in the file "upgrade_info.txt" (This file comes with the Plugin zip package 1.08). Please note: because of a name change of the columns 'x', 'y' and 'x * y' to 'Width', 'Height' and 'Pixel' you have to 're-add' Width, Height and Pixel.
Clo wrote:"Landscape" and "Portrait" are not translated, even if I add them in the LNG (they are missing in the file)…
"Landscape" and "Portrait" are never part of the LNG file. Please remember: these translations are part of the plugin specific ini file. I changed this file to ImgSize.ini (in Plugin folder). The section 'ImgSizeContentPlugin' in the file 'contplug.ini' is obsolete and can be deleted. (Please see hints in the file "upgrade_info.txt")

I have added a auto translation of "Landscape" and "Portrait" to the plugin... If this does not work correctly, please disable the auto mode in the file ImgSize.ini (in Plugin folder). Set the key to "TextLanguageAutoSelect=No" and "TextLanguageNo=3".

Best regards

Didn't work before---

Post by *Clo »

:) Hello !

¤ Indeed, I applied the instructions of "upgrade_info.txt".
- The translation things are relatively minor bugs; but it's much more annoying to miss the measurement for the missing values…
- Like I said above, that began with the previous version, just after I wrote to you :(
EDIT :
- New test, the whole plugin had been uninstalled /reinstalled, the columns reinstalled too. You can see here what it's displayed…
- that doesn't work at all for *.ico
- For thumb-nails fields, exactly the same than above :|

I have tested it again with the french TC configuration. And yes, it's wrong and it is a little bit stange: it depends only from the LNG file: Please remove all lines with 'x=...' 'y=...' 'x *y=...' from the "Imgsize.lng" file. Then stop and restart TC. After that, re-add the columns again. HTH. Please inform me about all works well.

I will update the version at the webpage a soon as possible...

Best regards

- I did the changes you advise above. Now, the values are displayed. Only the caption "Diagonale" is still missing.
- That works for thumb-nails too.
- However, nothing for *.ico… :(

Ok, very good. Thank you for your testing and support.

I don't understand what you mean with 'caption "Diagonale" is [...] missing'. Do you mean the title of the column is empty? Please send pics, so I can fix it.

;-) But, most icons are multiformat. What informations of icons are interesting related to Imgsize?

:) Hi !
I don't understand what you mean with 'caption "Diagonale" is [...] missing'.
¤ "Caption of the column-tab" or "Title of the column" are “Green cabbage and cabbage green” ! :P …I mean : the same !
- Moreover, in the TC-dialog (Configuration >> Custom columns >> Edit) there is alright Caption.
- So, the caption "Diagonale" (in French) is not written by the plugin.
- Indeed, I can type it "by hand" in the "Edit" dialog-box, but it's abnormal.
- It's displayed of course when typed by hand…
- I guess you missed that picture in my post…
- Another issue is that the cursor is not placed on the new empty row when you press the button "Add column", while it is with other content-plugins: I verified at this moment. So, this explains why I had all on a single line for the very first tests. In the last version, I have to click on the new empty row still, in order to get the new string on it, and not on the previous row if I don't click.

¤ For *.ico, just a single measure like "Side" (since they are square always) and "Color depth" (or "B-P-P") could do the trick…
- It should be too complicated to treat the multi-frame icons…

¤ *.dds is not supported …

Thanks J.Bl.

The new version 1.09 (19/02/2005 01:09) works OK for me with XP in french language. :D

I hope it's the same for you with Win98SE.

Hi,

what about displaying the aspect ratio as for example 4:3 instead of 1.333? 1.333 is not really common and the user has to know that 1.333 means 1:1.333
Thanks in advance!
