Lister plugin suggestion

Hello,

I have regularly to look for "String pattern" in binary files using "View F3" function and I was wondering if it exists or could be developped ?
(I know there are other tools, but it would be very practical to have it in TC)

I really would enjoy a lister option (for example) press "8" to only see what is readable, like the "string" function in unix environnements.

What do you think about it ? guys ?

Maybe someone will write such a plugin. I very much doubt it, as there myriads of tools that can be used as an external viewer from TC, and reinventing the wheel is not what most plugin writers are doing.
