Hello !

- Thanks for this new ß !
- I noticed :
1. The internal font is still inconvenient for French, please set a complete font instead that antiquated MS Sans Serif in which 29 characters are missing…
- Tahoma, Arial Latin or even MS Shell Dlg do the trick…

2. In the Options, if I press the button >> “Import TC icons”, the customized background colour goes away; it's reset to white. Doesn't seem normal.

With this new beta you can set your own font.
I don't know if old Win versions contain these fonts. That why I don't want to change default font.

In Options there is button called "Import TC settings" not "Import TC icons".
It's error in translation

- I can only change the font for the displayed info, but it is NOT used by the dialogues. The font in the dialogues is the one stated in the library, and I don't see any option to change it…

- Right, I missed this. BUT using that button doesn't import the colour-settings of TC !

That's why you may change for "Arial" without any problem !

I personally like Tahoma font so it will be my choice.

I can confirm that pushing the button "Import TC settings" does NOT set the background color NOR the text color to the colors of TC itself. It sets the font to the same font-family and variant as TC

In that case your plugin should also import the Lister font choice (ANSI) - otherwise it is not logical. And the text on the button should be changed to "Import Lister settings".

I would personally prefer that your plugin imported the colors and font from the TC file panel setting.

I personally like Tahoma font so it will be my choice.

Tahoma is not a standard font in Win 3.x and Win 95 - if that is of any importance to you. Tahoma first gets standard in Win 98, but it is also installed along with a lot of MS applications. http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/font.aspx?FID=19&FNAME=Tahoma

Hello !

• “Tahoma” does the trick very well, I prefer it too, 'cause it's possible i.e. to “draw” some arrows which look so nice as text when needed : [face=tahoma]—>[/face] and “Art guillemots” also.
- So, it's quite convenient for the dialogues…
- You can even get advantages using such a font in the programming, just give a glance HERE.

• About the import of TC settings (especially colours), please consider that some users (like myself, but I'm not the only…) change or add entries in the <wincmd.ini> file by hand, and may use an hexa-code, like for instance below :

;ThumbnailFrame=$FF0000
;ThumbnailFrame=$000000
ThumbnailFrame=$760000

…where you can see that the order of colours is $BGR
- No problem with TC, but if possible, the plugin might be able to use these codes too…

OK, it will be changed in next beta.

New beta is ready.
I hope that it will be last beta before stable version.

Changes:

1.2 beta2 [03.05.2006]
- Added button to go to parent folder.
- Changed default font for dialogs to Tahoma. Therefore plugin probably don't run in Win95.
- Fixed. Sometimes plugin didn't get values from wincmd.ini after pressing "TC Searches" button.
- Fixed. File name masks history extended to 20 entries in Scan Filtering dialog.
- Fixed. Sometimes plugin didn't display bold font in "Show only directories" mode
- Fixed. Plugin now import the colors and font from the TC file panel setting not TC lister settings.
- Fixed problem with saving pie chart.
