First impression: nice plugin! Promising!

Second impression: some things should be improved (you are not surprised, are you?).
Examples:
- the plugin always shows a complete page (no zoom). Some documents are hardly legible.
- browsing through documents is only possible in forward direction; page up does not work (here, at least).
- colours are not supported (again: here, at least).

Hi Wilhelm,

you discovered all the plugin's shortcomings. That was finally the reason why I called it Simple. I spent ages to figure out how to browse in backward direction but got not yet it to work. Same for zooming. Colors are definitely not supported. As you may have also noticed the used DVI library is pretty old (from 1996), buggy, not maintained any longer and without a proper English documentation and working example code.

I know there are some other DVI viewers available as open source, particularly yap and WinDVI. Maybe they provide a better starting point of a plugin development.

I am not sure if I am able to improve this simple plugin, but everyone is invited to take part in development. Just drop me a line or so...

i know some students, they most likely will be happy about this, and i guess, the simple version is sufficient.
