Hi all,
here's my first attempt at a lister plugin for Total Commander.
It displays some minimal information about TrueType fonts. It is nowhere near feature-complete (hence the 0.0.1 version number).
You can download it from http://users.pandora.be/liontech/wlxTTF.zip

- Add to readme info that the attached library should be copied to Windows\System32 (in WinXP) directory. First I've copied it to my lister plugin directory and.. it didn't work.
- The scrollbars are useless.
- I prefer the way Windows native displays font's info. It shows among other information - the example of the text - it's important because I can see if the font support eg. Polish chars.
- Why have you limited the number of displaying glyphs?

- The scrollbars come up by default. I haven't figured out how to remove them yet.
- Well, one of the reason I chose this layout is because I don't like the default font view. But like I said: it's a first version. I can expand on it.
- I just display the first 256 glyphs because I want to properly support the multiple Unicode pages. I didn't get around to that yet.

It seems that it will be a great plugin.
I think you should take a look at this little program I currently use: mapOchar.
For the moment, I think it is the best program to display fonts content, and you could get inspiration from it.
