I guess TC7 will be something really cool...

We are now in day 77 after 6.54a release and day 472 after 6.50 release.
That's almost 100 days from the 570 day record the 5.00 release had.

I know... it will be released when it's done.

Perhaps time for a Public Beta? :D

Maybe the TC7 is comparable to the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. ;) :P

The Hanging Gardens are extensively documented by Greek historians such as Strabo and Diodorus Siculus, but otherwise there is little evidence for their existence.

It depends on how you define release. In contrast to previous major versions there will be public beta test. Ghisler announced it here:
http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=85309#8530
The release date of the final version not just depends on the length of the alpha test but also on the length of the beta test.

I'm talking about the final release. Ghisler writes in that topic:
Ghisler wrote:...this can be done during the public beta test, which will follow the current private beta test.
It sounds to me that tc7 has entered betatest stage.
