there's no keypath entry in the wincmd.ini.
Without the keypath-variable in wincmd.ini, TC looks for the file in its programme directory. This is the default. Therefore on most systems, you will not find "keypath" in wincmd.ini.
If the key file is not stored in the default location, then you need the keypath variable in wincd.ini.
If it is not there, then simply add it to the section [Configuration].
So it looks like this:
[Configuration]
keypath=C:\program files\totalcmd
...lots of other keys ...
(Replace C:\program files\totalcmd by the appropriate path on your system.)
And just for your information: It really is in the online help, if at the bottom of the first page you klick on the link about wincmd.ini and then scroll down a bit. The wincmd.ini keys are explained in alphabetical order.
