:) Hi Jeff !

• I confirm ! I get THIS while the same file (copied from Lister) is :

Code: Select all

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\XnView]
"UseRegistry"=dword:00000000

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\XnView\ShellEx]
"Language"=dword:00000001
- What does the Master of the Registry think ? :D

Unicode REG-files look rather strange in viewer.
0D 00 0A 00 has to be interpreted as CR/LF.
I confirm ! I get THIS while the same file (copied from Lister) is :
Not currently, sorry. Variable line length is not supported in Bin/Hex/Unicode modes currently.

Again: wait for ver 1.5...

BTW, why not to use SynPlus?
It shows Unicode reg files like this:

Sure, that wasn't obvious for me.

This forum doesn't support thumbs btw...

I prefer Scintilla Lister or the new Syn with code folding. ;) SynPlus is way too sluggish for my taste, I use it very seldomly.

I am using ATViewer for some time now and i love it :P

But, as you guessed, i have some minor issues to mention :

1. focus stealing when viewing HTML files - when i press PF3 on a HTML file, i use the one you provide with the install :wink: , the file is presented ok but i have to click the window before PageUp or Down are working

2. viewing JPG and other images - in TC configuration i have set to use XNView as internal viewer for images - is it possible to make this available for ATViewer to ?!?!?

3. using ATViewer for images, PageUp - Down do not function, only mouse control is available

TIA, Grtz:snow

1. OK - I'll add setting focus on IE window in ver 1.4.8.1.
But it's experimental: note that this code will be disabled under Win98, because it leads to Viewer crash on exit.
So it's enabled under 2k/XP only, and if you'll have crashes with it, write me.

2. It's not possible.
I recommend to use WLX plugins SGViewer and Imagine instead of XnView (get them on totalcmd.net).

3. I know.
Sorry, it's limitation of Delphi controls.
Use SGViewer or Imagine if you need keys scrolling.

:) Hello !
3. using ATViewer for images, PageUp - Down do not function, only mouse control is available
• Why don't you use Spacebar¦BackSpace for the next¦Previous file ?- Just add in <Viewer.ini>

Code: Select all

[Options]
FileNextSpace=1
Or do you mean to view the pages in a multi-page file ?

:mrgreen: Kind regards
Claude

V1.4.8.1: minor update: MSIE control receives focus; lang files updated

Report here if after using Internet mode Viewer will crash. Then I'll disable IE window focusing.

Version w/o installer is also available.

This is test of determining text codepage (OEM or ANSI).
Icfu and all, please test it on your NFO (should be determined as OEM) and non-NFO texts. Test shows "OEM" for NFO files that Icfu sent me.

It shows Diff - middle-square error for current file. If Diff>3.8 (max for Icfu's files) then file is ANSI, else is OEM. For unknown NFOs Diff may be greater than limit, so write me about it.

Usage:
Freq.exe Filename.ext
