[REQ] Allow select of filename in pack dialog also
When you press F5+F5 the name of the file gets selected. This works with F6+F6 too.
It would be great if F5/F6 would select the filename in the "pack files" dialog (Alt+F5) too.

A little wish
"Added: Pressing F5 again after F5-copy selects the file name only/name+ext (F6 also works, e.g. for F6 - F6)"
I love this handy way!
Could we get more of this? I mean for example
A+F5 (cm_packfiles)
CA+F5 (cm_packfiles)
CAS+F5 (cm_packfiles)

You have to press Shift + F5 and then F5. It doesn't work if you press Shift + F5 and Shift + F5 (which was the thing i tried out).Lefteous wrote:2wandererIt does for me.Shift + F5 needs that too.

What about this one?
>>Why isn't the extension included in the cycle?
It would be nice when you want to move and rename filename.out after a file join.
WDXInfopacker plugin can for example automatically choose a template just by changing the extension, also some packer plugins support conversion of formats.
Consider to include extension in the cycle with an INI setting if you have arguments against it please.

03.11.06 Added: Pack dialog: F5 or Alt+F5 can now be used to select specific name part (name with ext, name without ext, everything)
Thanks for the improvement in v7 beta 2!
Still, is it possible to add this feature also to these 2 shortcut?
CA+F5 (cm_packfiles)
CAS+F5 (cm_packfiles)
I personally use them a lot.
And together with the wish: Include file extension in selection cycle...
