Request: cm_MkDir (F7 NewFolder) improvements

Thank you very much for your detailed response packed with many interesting hints!

At my work I use AHK for automated software testing, because AHK supports bitmap search, which is indispensable for me, as the app tested resides only on remote desktop, this means, no controls are available for automating, only screenshots of work phases. AHK works just wonderfully here.

Probably I will need this impressive feature sooner or later, especially if AHK convinces with speed and incredible stability as you mention.

I appreciate the new features of the cm_MkDir command (F7 NewFolder).

The HISTORY.TXT file describes them as follows:

• 05.02.06 Added: Suggest dir name under cursor as default name on F7 Mkdir, so the user can edit the name.
• 14.05.06 Added: F7 "New Folder" now has its own history of last created folders

Nevertheless I suggest the following:

1. Also a file name should be suggested if the focus is on a file.

• 13.12.06 Added: F7 Create directory: Suggest name of file under the cursor as the default (minus the extension)

Well, as the suggested file/foldername is completely selected by default when the dialog opens, you can immediately type your desired new foldername if you don't want to use the suggested name. Just as if the textfield was empty...

yep, i understand this, but sometimes it is not necessary to leave history behind you...

UPDATE:
solved by ghisler and m^2 in different thread [History list - number of remembered folders]. Sorry guys, can not post link coz iam new member here )
