Clo,
It's the cm_Exchange icon for me, but you can use it as Synchronise too...
Well, I don't intend to use it, just noted it nicely expressed the idea of Synchronizing dirs, at least that's the first thing I thought of when thinking about what that icon might mean.
Anyways, thanks for the explanation.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Here is another screenshot. I'm not using the shown configuration, it's just to show which gui components can be customized and which not.

MAC OS X Visual style, custom buttonbar, MAC OS X drivelib, icon size in filelist changed to 32x32, MAC OS X filetype iconlib.

I went for a minimalist approach while making it as modern as possible. I use a sub bar where I keep lesser used options. The button bar icons are mostly from Mozilla Firebird.

This i what my copy of TC looks like:
http://2105.dk/temp/tc601.png

I've always prefered a dark background. I think it's more
comfortable to look at than a bright white background.

Which icon library do you use?
Two different libraries. One for the toolbar and one for the icons in the main windows.
If you want, you can download a ZIP file here: http://free.pages.at/infosites/tc_icons.zip
