Though your TC is 'way to colorful for me (I personally reserve color for information, not the interface) I will say that complex as they are, your icons are easily distinguishable one from the other, so there is no confusion as to which does what, and it would be easy to always click on the "right one" at a glance.
I'm usually more in favor of "symbolic" icons as opposed to "narrative" or "photographic" icons, but I do like your approach.

Hummm... It's the cm_Exchange icon for me, but you can use it as Synchronise too... (I'ld prefer "Match dirs", since the time isn't the one criterion...)

Personally, I need to use 32*32 icons in the tool-bar, because my view is "tired"... TC allows up to 48*48. Nice, a new fashion for "Watch my TC"! Friendly,
