This performance leak will be fixed in the next release.
The "Beta USB Stick Plugin (NTFS)" release v0.0.6 fixes the performance issue.

Support for NTFS has been added to the Trial version of the standard plugin "USB Stick Plugin-TC (Trial)": https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.hechler.tcplugins.usbstick

FAT and NTFS formatted sticks can be read and FAT formatted sticks can be written to.

The currently available separate Plugin "BETA USB Stick Plugin (NTFS)" will be depublished in October.

If the tests with the Trial version are successful, NTFS support will be added to the fullversion too.

Will I be able to write to my NTFS formatted stick as well sometime?

feri,

Can you have both trial and paid versions installed ?

If not, how about the NTFS Beta and paid version ?

Trial works fine but I do need NTFS and FAT support as I have a USB stick of each :)

Using on a Stock N7 2013 and works fine (once I rebooted with English US language)

Cheers,

I am not sure about that.
Some months ago I declined, that reading NTFS would be supported sometime.
Now NTFS reading is possible.

So who knows, whether NTFS writing will be possible SOMETIME? :-)

Yes, it is possible, but it is not neccessary any longer.
The Trial version now supports both, NTFS reading and FAT read/write access.

So, if you have the Trial version installed, there is no need for the NTFS Beta.
If the responses are good, NTFS support will be added to the paid version next week.

If you have more than one Plugin installed each Plugin will query for itself to get access to the USB Stick.
So look carefully in the title, which Plugin queries Access. Press "Cancel" for the Plugin that should not get access to the stick.

NTFS support is now added to the paid version, so you can remove all other versions. :)
