Well, they don't list any prices, so it must be really expensive, probably per client licenses. TC for Android and my plugins are 100% free, I don't own a single cent with it. This is a hobby for me, not something I make a living with.

So far SMBj has worked just fine for me with SMB1 and SMB2, with all Windows versions. If it doesn't work for you, there must be configuration problem on the Windows side (like disabled SMB1 and SMB2).

Oh, in that case jNQ is not the best fit here. It is more for production and companies who need SMB3 plus 24/7 support.
