Yes, that is one of the reasons why I suggested to you my menu file.

BTW, if you are a registered user and if you speak German you can email the author
and receive a pdf manual as well. (And since so far you were speaking in English
you can translate that for me! ;) :D )

Thanks:

I will make sure I do, No I dont speak German, I think I can manage. I have setup all the directories of ineterest as Tabs so I dont have to go to the Tree structure every time. The main reason I sought some other app instead of WinExplorer is that I have alot of ZIP & RAR files which only open in thier app windows. I tried 2XExplorer though better than WinExplorer still does not have much features. By far this is the best.

Copy & Paste files

Post by *AJones »

Hi:

Say I have set Show->Full (Ctrl+F2) , I cannot paste a file from the clipboard by rightclicking as there is no empty place to paste the file. I have to do Brief(Ctrl+F1) find an empty space to paste a file. Is there a easier way? to cut & Paste files by right clicking.

Thanks,
AJ

Right click on the active directory bar will show a menu which contains the Paste command.

I dont know what I messed up with, I guess I must have downloaded someplugin. The left pane only displays *.EXE, *.PIF, *.CMD, *.COM, *.BAT files. That is reason I guess I dont see any other file What do I do to correct this.
I guess you accidentically pressed Ctrl+F11. This is the hotkey for show only executable fils (the file types you mentioned above).
Press Ctrl+F10 to make all files visible again.
That for you get in the line above the file window (Current path) the path and then "*.exe *.bat" etc instead of "*.*".

You can switch the view also in the menu with "show->All files"

AJones,
I cannot paste a file from the clipboard by rightclicking as there is no empty place
You can also simply press Ctrl-V.

Thanks much.

Can any one tell me what is new in the next release. Actually, this realse itself is feature full. I only hope I can execute RAR,ZIp files directly without confirmation, and get full Folder info on cursor hover in the new release.

Thanks taking a look at these pages.

Hacker:
I did try ExpertMode=1, Well it does not go through Do you want to extract and execute form, but also brings up another form claiming do you want to put Overwrite, Overwriteall, Skip, Cancel etc. Not much of hassle actually given that it does not open WinRAR,WinZIP.

Hope all my queries makes TC a better product.

TC integrated WinRAR just fine. But when I want to unpack a RARed file, it brings up a dialog where one can type the directory to unpack or select the Folder Tree. The Folder Tree is very cumbersome to traverse correctly when you just want to extract a file to a directory not displayed in the Tree. Is it possible at this stage of unpacking to have a expandable tree as in WinExplorer?
