Old *.dat

:) Hello Peter!
- Looking at your screen-shots on the nyam's forum, I noticed you have the old *.dat files; they are no longer needed, since now they are in the INI file as two sections.
- I've not these old files (under Win 98 SE where all works). You could try to remove them; maybe this doesn't matter, maybe it does…

It didn't help to remove the .dat files - filter browsing still crashes TC :-(

I can confirm this bug without Servicepack and with Servicepack 1 under XP German version.

I found reason. This is interference with XP manifest.

Can you post image of standard "Open" or "Save as.." window, from TC or internal lister.

@Gral you dont believe me ? :D
Here you go:
- my tc:
- imagine with a pic:
- imagine with open-dialog:
- imagine with Save As-Dialog:

Something completly different - when opening the Save As- or the Open-Dialog <Tab> in TC
is disabled and if I press F3 once more I can't close the second lister with Escape...
is it just imagine ? (i odnt have any other plugin with a open/save as-dialog...)

It might have something to do with XP manifest anyway.

If I make an imagine.exe.manifest file and run the standalone imagine.exe - then there is full support for XP-theme AND if I do a Ctrl+I then the standalone version also crashes, which it usually doesn't when run without the presence of a manifest file.

And that is whether or not I am actually using an XP-theme!

2 Sir_SiLvA i believe

But look at these pictures
http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/2043/lister1a4pa.png
http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/8631/lister2a1yt.png
This is "Open" windows from external lister, first with manifest , second without, both with Classic style.
"Navigation" icons are different, you see ?
You can turn off XP style, but manifest files are still read by system.
