Please allow me a moment to collect some evidence from historical threds as there were other power users as well stating that I did not post any cracks. The whole thing should prove to every living crature with health sense of logic that not only I was not posting a crack information but I was publicly humiliated because of your actions.

I wish though, I don't have to waste my time for this and that you will finally admit your past mistakes. Everybody should be responsible for its actions, even you Mr. Ghisler on your own place at your own forum. Or we can continue to hunt the justice.

Sorry, but what's the point of all your repetitive 'this is not illegal' and 'I didn't break a forum rule' statements? It is neither your software, nor your forum.

Is your Ego that big that you can't respect Ghislers wish that you don't publish anything here to circumvent the copy protection (or better: 'licensing motivation')?

If your script is a crack per definition or not is totally irrelevant. The fact is that you provide a possibility for users to make use of TC's evaluation version as if it was a registered version. Therefore it is very likely that there will be users who won't purchase TC but use your script, even if they could afford to buy TC.

Please answer me this question: Did you really expect Ghisler to tolerate your published script and say 'thank you! I'm selling too much licenses anyway, so thanks for your script, with this I have less work to do with orders'.

And all you do is shout around about open minds and that you didn't violate any forum rule (which might be true, but that's not the point).

Is your goal really to reduce the number of TC-licenses Ghisler sells by providing that script?

What if someone comes to your house and starts giving away your own furniture as gifts to bypassing people? Sorry man, I really can't understand your nitpicking about license agreements and forum rules.

It is indeed a simple question of respect: It's Ghisler's Program and forum, so you have to respect his opinion. If you don't like this, Hm, well. Too bad.

One's a fierce defender of free software particularly for those who can't afford to pay, the other probably agrees but needs to protect his product to avoid getting his rice-bowl broken. I'm possibly not the only one to sympathise with both points of view.

If a tree falls in the middle of a forest and there's no one around to hear it, does it make a sound? No easy answer to that and no easy answer to this dispute either. I think you guys aren't really that far apart and simply ought to agree to disagree and leave it at that.

One thing we cannot possibly take isssue with Christian about though: if he says it's a crack, it's a crack, and if he decrees that it's warez, then it's warez. Quite simply it's his party and he'll cry if he wants to!
