OK, sorry for my question. :wink:

Well, I tend to agree with Roman that linear selection is the most probably needed one, so I think it's logical that the selection method in any view (including thumbnail) follows this.
The difference in thumbnail view is that linear means horizontal, while in detail view it is vertical. This is a bit disturbing, but...

But, hey, I'm not really against the rectangular selection, I just don't really miss it. :wink:

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

hello.
this is possible:
make linear selection with one mouse click with moving like drag-and-drop. instead of {click and then [scroll and] shift+click}.
