no, I don't have enough memory for a RAM-drive, so I use a virtual drive made by SUBST command.

Hi, I've downloaded a new Iconlib, but it doesn't work very well. Some folders maitain the original windows icons (these are system folders). Take a look here.

How could I make all folders show the same blue icon?

TIA for your help.

Thanks, but it doesn't work. I change the read only option, click OK, but it returns automaticaly to the original status. And even if it worked, I'd need to make this action many times...Another suggestion?

Can you name the directories where the attributes status is restored automatically.

TC has great features like multiselection and a powerful search function...
Combining this features will help you here.

Even if I rename it, I can't change the read only attribute...

No, I wanted to know what are the names of the directories where the attributes are restored after changing their attributes.

C:\Windows
C:\System Volume Information

for example.

I can change their attributes if I have sufficient user rights.

Some folders:

c:\System Volume Information\
c:\Recycler\
c:\Program Files\

I changed the read only options and it worked. But the icon is still the same, so even it I change the attributes of these folders, the icon will remain...I just don't understand why TC itself doesn't change the icons.
