Of course I did. I guess it's not really on top of the wish list.

do we need to add the add-on pack for 64-Bit windows files? I added the 4 ZZL files in the sfx directory, just to be sure.

If you wanna create 64 bit only self-extractables you should pick the add-on package.

If I would ask Ghisler to implement all the things I ever suggested this would be my only occupation. I have to trust him that he manages the wish list properly.

32 bit programs run fine on x64. Someday 32 bit will be dropped but this will probably take many years and Windows versions.

As the SQX SDK author has announced that he is stopping development of Squeez and the SQX plugin SDK I will also stop development of this plugin. Feel free to continue using the plugin but keep in mind that it's no longer supported by its maker.

It's indeed very sad that the development of SQX was stopped, but the free competition from 7zip was probably too strong.

could you at liest name existing plugin "final", not "beta3"? For many users the words "final release","RTM" or so have a sacral magical sence, as I can see

AFAIK SQX archive format supports unicode. Would it be possible adding Unicode support with v7.5 and TotalSQX too? Thanks in advance.

It doesn't make much sense to improve a plugin for a discontinued technology.

What are the differencies (if any) between version 2.0 BETA3 and this new version (the .wcx files are not identical) ?

They cannot be identical as I updated the version information. But there actually is a list of changes - originally the beta 4 list of changes:

FIXED Fixed a problem with language detection caused by extra files in Total SQx's language file directory.
FIXED A multi-line message box wasn't displayed correctly.
ADDED French language file.
FIXED When trying to move the settings file the move button was disabled.

Anyway the history.txt included in the package doesn't contain any 2.0 change items.
