Wrong! Andale Mono isn't a nice font at all. Mono spaced fonts rarely are nice. At least not on most Windows systems. Here are some of my reasons: first of all there is no difference between font size 8 and 9. Secondly the character "M" doesn't fit in the mono space used by Andale Mono. Typographically spoken, this character is desinged with the same with of all other characters. As you probably know, character "M" doesn't fit into the with that is designed for most characters. This also counts for some other characters as well. Of course I am not saying that mono spaced fonts shouldn't be used at all.
Here are some of my prefered font styles for TC:
You could apply these settings with these standard fonts installed by Windows:
Font: Microsoft Sans Serif
Font size: 8 or 9 (9 is very nice)
Font style: bold (for sizes 8 and 9)
Font: System (DOS & Windows)
Font size: 10
Font style: bold
In most windows configs not configurable
Font: Tahoma
Font size: 8 or 10 (8 is very nice)
Font style: bold
I do have 10.000 different types of fonts (fortunatelly not installed) and I know that the standard Windows fonts aren't the best available. So there are a lot more combinations possible.
V> Probably you need to go to Control Panel -> Fonts

Val, it depends on there do you copy it .
Unpack ttf file from archive, open system "Fonts" folder with cm_OpenFonts, copy ttf there (you can use internal Commander copy routine) and Commander install it for you.
One thing - there is a problem with fonts removing. Commander delete them w/o a questions, but it looks like it doesn't tell system about that, so you can see removed font in explorer (strange thing, it shows it with compressed files color on FAT16 ).[/face]

Personaly, I use Andale Mono for all programs where I need mono spaced fonts (notepad, SynUS plugin, Delphi).
It is the best font to program in Delphi (or C++): Contrary to courier, you can see differences between l and I or O and 0.
