[OT] Serbia NOT Montenegro

Post by *majkinetor ! »

Alexey wrote: Is Chernogorians completely different nation than Serbians, or they just like Ukrainians regarding to Russians ("brother nation")?
Well, I am not history expert - even for my own country (I don't like an idea to depend on information being collected here and there...and they change it all the time...) - but every Serbian that is not brain washed by past 60 years of comunism (or whatever the hell was going on here through decades - especially the our well known imprecation that was recently unsumonned from this world) know that Serbians <> Montenegrians :) I don't know what even merged us in the first place...

The friend that sold the house in Montenegro was acctually my uncle. I was there every vacation for 15 years until one day he decided that can't take any Montenegrian any more in his life or he will go insane. That was 5 years ago. He couldn't sell the house (it was beutiful peace of work, done with his love through years - every peace of the furniture and every wall was hand made by him and his wife, every tree in the garden) until suddenly Russian buisnismens came in the hood to buy everything. What an releaf. He sold the house for whatever price he wanted, and left the Montenegro with words that his foot will never enter its theritory again.

My best firend is military pilot. He had a bad luck to be statitioned there for seven years. He call it "7 years on Tibet". Acctually, he revisited that sentence once, leting me know that on Tibet he would at least learn how to meditate. He said somehing similar as my uncle when he finaly got command to move to Belgrade's airport: "I will eat my own sh*t if I ever cross the border again".

As I see it, Ms are much more like to Albanians then to Serbians. They have some same "cultural phenomenas" (Virginee, Blood Revenge, enormous love for Celular Phones - this one still doesn't have official name). For instance, the first neighboor of my uncle had a daughter. She killed her self because her boyfriend left her, and they wanted Blood Revenge, but the village somehow put the "nice words" on boys family becuase he acctually did nothing but to leave her - he didn't kill her himself. So they droped the revenge and compensation was boys family never to approach their house in some diametar. But they were still so ashamed because what she did that they never visited her grave. Never. The first neighber. The vilage is 5 km's from Kotor along the sea, the bigest touristic attraction of Montenegro.

Just another example is that dredger once cut the telephone line while digging some hole for local kiosk and hole village didn't have a phone for a year ?! The whole village never had a watter more then half a day, and electricity more then 2/3 of the day. Even today. The paradox is that watter is everywhere in the Montenegro except in the pipe: recently 1km Kotor tunnel crashed because of too much unresolved watter.

I can write the book of what I have seen there for 15 years. If you count the fact that I am very asotial when I go there - never talk to Ms more then I must, use only the see-house route - you can imagine other things...

I don't have much better opinion for Serbians as well, but that is on completely different plane. Discussing Seribans is like talking about some weird people using modern psychology language, while Ms in that sense can only be described as nation that accidently found time telleport and jumped 500 years in the future.

Why do you think on such things right after your vacation? Was it in Montenegro? Ah, no matter...

I personally don't share my opinion on Ukrainians-Russians relations in details, but I can say that A LOT of people in the Ukraine think about Russians just like you think about Montenegrians, and A LOT of Russians think the same about the Ukrainians. The only truth is that each and every nation has a bunch of shitfaces among its population. The thing is to look for good sides...

BTW, who is that Alexey you are quoting? Alextp?

Because Alextp asked me right after my vacation :)
Was it in Montenegro?
Unfortenauly yes, this time the truly the last time. Don't ask me why, it is a long story...
The only truth is that each and every nation has a bunch of sh*itfaces among its population
Something like that. But, some bunch is bigger the other.
The thing is to look for good sides...
Ah yeah, when I don't have the watter half a day, the good side is when I have it, right ? :)

Change the link. It contains a trailing dot. (Now it points to the other magazine! )

For what reason? For now I have the same nick on almost each forum I visit, only passwords differ.

P.S.: follow standards :)

You didn't understand something here, X :)
Like always :)
What Microsoft has to do with it ? Please ?
Maybe you misspeled Western Digital ?

I don't beleive in global judgement. The fact that you are from Montenegro or near Pridnestrov means little to me - just some default probability, nothing more - the true individuals are beyond nations...

For what reason do I need to write "kibibyte". I always write "Kilobyte", on almost every forum. ;)
Only numbers of kilobytes differ. :)

Like always
Nope, now you don't understand. If MS will support the standard, then almost any other programs would. Just because "Windows shows KiB, so my app must show KiB too"
What Microsoft has to do with it ? Please ?
I blame MS for users' computer illiteracy and stupidity.
I always write "Kilobyte", on almost every forum.
So you show your computer illiteracy on almost every forum ;) BTW, why almost? On some of fora you use kibibytes, or you simple don't speak of them there?

What illiteracy? In word "kilobyte"? Where is illiteracy, it's standard computer word. Means 1024 bytes.
Strange to hear that from student of computer speciallity...

Hi majki !

Hope you and family had a nice time and returned refreshed from your holiday. Ready to stop XPEHOPE3KA threatening us with his kibibytes and frightening the horse-radishes?

I enjoyed reading your worm's eye view of Montenegro. More interesting than Lonely Planet, I have to say.
Never heard of Kotor so looked it up on the map and it looks to be in a beautiful position by a perfectly sheltered bay. Strangely the word 'kotor' in Indonesian means 'dirty'. Pity that the local attitude doesn't match the scenery huh? No sex, no drugs, no rock'n'roll, no cigarettes, no whiskey, no wild, wild, women - just lots of mobile ringtones? Aargh, sounds like Paradise Lost! 8)

Best regards.

It WAS standard word. Follow the link in my signature.

But can he stop others? Clo, icfu, ... IEEE :), other standardisation organizations? Actually, I don't threaten anyone, I just ask.

P.S.: for me the problem is not just to write and speak according to standards. I NEED to overcome my habits sometimes (it is like narcotic ;)). The more natural the habit is the harder it is to overcome it and the more skill in it I receive

It's standard now de-facto. I read your link, it's said that "kilo=1024" is not standard but common, and "kibi" is standard (of IEC). Agree. But "commonly used" almost means standard de-facto. So we can use it until it becomes not common, e.g. until Microsoft will switch to "kibi" in its soft.

PS I know about problem:
Using the prefixes kilo-, mega-, giga-, etc., and their symbols K, M, G, etc. (see below for the peculiarities of "K"), in the binary sense can cause serious confusion.
We can live with it.
