Hi, All:
For the same packer plugin for which I've requested location info to Christian, I find another need:
I want it to be able to transfer some file and subdir info (attributes and dates) and to check the CRC32 from the packfile where it's been stored to all the existing destination unpacked subdirs and files hanging from the destination panel subdir. (I already know, use and love the sfv file checking, but I'm implementing a somewhat different approach, that I imagine could be good for me and others).
My difficulty now is how the TC user can command those operations:
1.- If I, as user, use the "Extracting" command (which brings PK_EXTRACT to my plugin), TC pre-deletes me the destination files, against my wish (I don't want to extract them, but just to transfer their info).
2.- If I use the "Test archives" command (which brings PK_TEST to my plugin), it doesn't delete anything, but neither does it give me the location info.
So, can anybody tell me if there is a way of disabling the pre-deleting of the destination files when extracting? (this would be my prefered way, as it's more intuitive).
If not, my request to Christian of providing location info would at least allow me to do it through "test archive".
Thanks in advance for your help.
Jose
Optionally disabling pre-deleting when extracting from pack.
