In 7 pb2, we can do cycling selection through separate name parts by pressing F5/F6, Shift+F5/F6, Alt+F5 repeatedly, and surely it is more convenient to rename file names during operations of copy/move/pack etc.
However there remains a little fault.
Suppose I'm to make a backup file 'a_bak.txt' for 'a.txt':
1 I should press Shift+F5, the 'copy to' dialogue appears
2 Press Shift+F5 again to select the file name 'a'
3 Press Right Arrow then the fault appears: the text cursor will be just AFTER the seperator'.', not appropriately just BEFORE it.
I wish text cursor be handled the way as Renameonly(Shift+F6).
[suggestion]Cycling selection can be a little better

Support! Or it should be changed for Shift+F6 to match the other dialogs. Inconsistancy here is not good. I wote for changing all dialogs to work as Shift+F6
