A suggestion for a major interface overhaul

Now that we have the new tree-view implemented, can we perhaps also implement something resembling this interface? I find that Total Commander currently wastes a lot of precious screen-space on the panels.

Wow, I feel dizzy. Never seen such an encumbered interface!
Let's continue and integrate all available tools in TC: calculator, Word docs editor, Excel docs editor, graphics, video and sound files editors, small FTP pane (mmm... maybe inside thumbs pane?), affix tiny Control Panel somewhere, TV screen...

(just expressing my opinion about such interface, don't take it personally)

Hehe, no problem. I was only kidding. I can't believe anyone would actually want a program to work like that.
