Here are two images, one in Win2K and another in WinXP. They have some embedded comments about how TC look in those two OSs.

The "vertical lines" i'm talking about in one of the images is probably a background control. It would be nice if it's appearance could be altered but i'm not sure it's possible.

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

Well, as i see in Win2K, "flat UI" does make a difference but IMO it still doesn't look good. I know, it's just a little detail but it looks ugly to me.Valentino wrote:I think what you ask could be switched on/off by "Flat user interface" option on Layout page, but it affects functional keys bar only.
