multi rename tool suggestion:

Post by *bugmenot »

Oh, a multi rename tool topic. I have some suggestions too:

Upper/lowercase - First letter uppercase
I think it should make the first letter uppercase. So if there's a number (or symbol or space) before it, it would still make the first letter uppercase.
For example:
track.wav -> "[C] - track.wav" -> 01 - Track.wav
or even
01 - track.wav -> 01 - Track.wav

Of course the current behaviour should be kept too.

Define counter [C] - Digits
Wouldn't it be better to be able to change it like the "Start at" and "Step by" instead of using a combobox?

I didn't use the multi rename tool too often, so if any of you see the downside of these changes, please, do tell.

Anyway,
keep up the good work

[mod]Thread split from Multi rename files - more than one job - in next update PLS.
Please post only one request / bug per thread. Also, do not hijack other threads for your bug reports / requests.

Thanks

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Support! I already requested such an option quite a while ago, but unfortunately (IIRC), this was not possible for some reason...
