Totalcmd does not close
If I close TC with one or two open tree windows, the TC-window disappeared but in the taskmanager the process is still active. After opening TC and closing several times I have a lot of TC-processes in the taskmanager.
After rebooting and starting TC without a treewindow the closing is ok.
This happens with all beta version and not with the TC 6.55 version.

Hello ! Welcome aboard !
• I cannot confirm, I tested with a bunch of combinations classic¦separate tree-views,
there is not any TC running anywhere in the Win Task-manager…
Kind regards,

I have deinstalled all extension (except the packer plugins) but the same phenomen.VadiMGP wrote:I observed similar problem when FolderSize extention for explorer was installed. Are you use some explorer extentions?
If i have opened a separate tree window during a tc session, I can see the prozess in the taskmanager after closing tc. there is no difference wteher I close the separate tree window during the session or not.
If I do not use a separate tree window tc is closing normally.
With tc 6.55 there is no problem.
I use windows XP SP2
Sorry, I missunderstood you. I have some programs installed, which expand the right mouse menu in the explorer like winzip or winamp. But again, there is no problem with tc 6.55VadiMGP wrote:2vsI'm affraid you don't understand me. In my case problem with closing TC actually was related to EXPLORER extentions, not TC plugins.I have deinstalled all extension (except the packer plugins)

Try to disable the Explorer extensions temporarily with ShellExView.
1. Get the free tool ShellExView:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html
2. Disable all context menu shell extensions one by one (you can hide/keep
those belonging to Windows, they are usually OK).
3. Continue until Total Commander stops hanging

Thanks for the tip. Nice tool. I have detected that a shell directory from HP named HP Share-To-Web was the reason that TC is not closing. After disabling the shell directory the problem disappeared.
