Hi to everyone,
i have no floppy in my computer but explorer and TC are showing me a: icon, so i typed i my windmd.ini this:
Allowed=cdefghijklmnouprstuvxyz
why i typed almost all this alphabet letters? C-F are partitions of my HDD, G is optical drive, rest i typed to see occasionally connected usb drives or emulated cd-roms.
what is the point?
i think that DisAllowed= entry will be better than Allowed= in my case it should be like this:
DisAllowed=a
best regards,
Tomasz
[Suggestion] Replace Allowed= by DisAllowed= in wincmd.ini

Hi mizantrop. I think instead of trying to find your solution in TC or windows, you might want to take a look at your BIOS first. There is a chance drive A has been declared as existing there. After that, you should probably search in Windows to see what's going on. I assume Stance's solution is a good start.mizantrop wrote:i have no floppy in my computer but explorer and TC are showing me a: icon

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.
