reader editor x-separated files

Hello,

I am looking for a (preferably Lister-like) reader / editor of pipe, comma... separated files. I have many of these files I have to check and so far I have been using Excel to edit them but I get all kinds of export problems (many characters loose their diacritics etc.).

Is there something like this available ?
