Hello!
Often, but not everytime, when trying to open files by using the right click menu, TC crashes without leaving any message. This has only been an issue with the rel. 7.

Sounds like a faulty shell extension.
To correct it, please try the following:
1. Get the free tool ShellExView:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html
2. Disable all context menu shell extensions one by one (you can hide/keep
those belonging to Windows, they are usually OK).
3. Continue until Total Commander stops crashing
