Packer functionality

Post by *krojc »

There! I did it! Not just reading anymore!

Even thou I usually get everything answered just browsing through this forum and all ideas mainly get written by somebody else, I still got one that I haven't stumbled on yet! I also doubt Mr. G will have time for it, but...

OK! I do a lot of "zipping"! And my tons of files have a lot of links. If I doubleclick a file in a pack it openes and popups "can not find...". Could it be posible to doubleclick on file and persuade packer to remember where this file came from and execute or unzip it to /temp? Extract all of them is just to time consuming.

BG K!

I'm not quite sure what you need - TC already unpacks a file under the cursor when you double click it.

krojc means that double-clicking on a link in an archive should unpack and execute the linked file, not the link itself.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Ah, I see! It's indeed an interesting idea, so I will check whether this is possible or not.
