Prerequisites for other languages support, Please !

Post by *xtrips »

Hi,

I work with files named with other languages (alphabets).
My operating system supports this language and shows the correct name in explorer. However, these files names only shows question marks instead of the original characters.
I tried to use different fonts for the file list without success.
Note: I work with an English interface.

Thanks

TC doesn't currently support Unicode, you can AFAIK use Hebrew if you write the filenames using ANSI windows, for that your systems default language has to be set to Hebrew. Try creating a dir using TC and see if it shows ok.

(Explorer sometimes uses unicode to name files, dirs.)

(Hebrew was used as example, given you seem to be from IL)

Cheers.

You have to switch system input locale to hebrew. What OS you use?
