[NOT TC BUG] Lister quits after selection

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

[NOT TC BUG] Lister quits after selection

Post by *m^2 »

When I select some text, move the cursor above the lister's icon and then release it, lister instantly quits. I tried 2 files with the same effect.

No video, but…

:) Hello !

• At first glance, that doesn't occur here…
- Maybe did you get the antiquated Win 3.1 menu from that icon ?
- It's still there (!) and has an entry to close…

BTW : I can't get your video, the site asks to register, sorry, I don't wish that.
- Please, place the video - even as an archive to download - at a directly reachable location…

Hello Claude :)
I don't know where you were looking, but it doesn't ask me to register, I tried the download before posting ;)
I don't know about any menu under that icon.

At first the download didn't work for me either. I tried now and it's fine.

I cannot reproduce the bug either.

I tried it in RC5, RC1, PB4. It doesn't occur when a plugin is used. I'll move the download to another server in 5 minutes.

Does it happen in all these versions?

Do you use a custom theme/theming app?

I got the problem. It's not TC bug.
It's just one of countless bugs of TotalScripts :x
Sorry for the false alarm.

:) Again…

• Glad to hear that you solved the issue.
…I don't know about any menu under that icon. …
• Just right-or-left-click on any icon in any programme @ left in the title-bar, and you get that antiquated thingy !

- I know only one guy who uses it still… :P
- The most times, it bores me a lot, and I yell daily because it when making a mouse-slip !

Unfortunately I did not - I found the responsible one, but I can do nothing about it. Even though it's extremely buggy, TS is still useful. I'm going to use it until WBX is ready 8)
It's the main reason I'm writing it.
