TC7rc5+wine+ie6sp1

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

...type any words in the commandline...
Maybe the crash is related to the new "autocomplete" support.
This is a windows feature made available at TC 7.

Wine seems to have a problem with this ...

You can disable it. Just clear the checkmarks at the options.

On German OS: Einstellungen - Operation : "Pfade-autovervollständigen" / "Namen automatisch anhängen"

Indeed Internet Explorer seems to install some new OLE DLLs, so this may break some of the OLE objects used by Total Commander.
