Drag&drop from Firefox 2nd overwrite dialog
1. Open http://www.ghisler.com/ in Firefox.
2. Drag the url to a file panel in Total Commander. The url file is created correctly.
3. Drag the same url to the same file panel in Total Commander. An overwrite dialog should appear.
4. Click overwrite. Now a second overwrite dialog appear which look like this:
http://www.lefteous.de/tc/beta7/bugshots/d_d_overwrite_2.png
Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the problem always. Tested using Firefox 2.0.0.1 and TC 7.00.

Played with it for some time (FF 2.0.0.4, TC 7.00) with various combinations (duplicate tabs open, etc) but could not reproduce it, not even once.Lefteous wrote:Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the problem always. Tested using Firefox 2.0.0.1 and TC 7.00.
EDIT: Tested on Win2K SP4.

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

Not confirmed, I tried it over a dozen times.
How did you drag the URL? I dragged the icon to the left of the URL.

I have tried the same a dozen times without any errors (XP SP2). Dropped on a file panel in Full view mode.I dragged the icon to the left of the URL to the taskbar button of TC, waited for TC to raise and then dropped it.

Maybe a bug in FF 2.0.0.1 and 2.0.0.3? I had no problems with 2.0.0.4...

Well, if FF sends two file names, TC will try to handle two files...

TC doesn't validate the names, it leaves that to the file system.
