TC installation does not remove old shortcut

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

TC installation does not remove old shortcut

Post by *wanderer »

I remember seeing something similar in a post during the beta phase but i can't find it at the moment. TC 7.0 final installation creates a new Total Commander shortcut under Start\Programs but it does not remove the old "Total Commander 32" one.

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

I know, unfortunately it's not possible to remove it with the current installer.
